Objectives:
- Address the balance of negative media attitudes towards and poor press attitude coverage of soft drinks.
Programme:
- Create a panel of Key Opinion Leaders, experts in nutrition and dietetics, the Expert Group on Hydration, to act as the positive/scientific voice of reasoning for the industry, to all media and opinion formers.
- Create positive reporting/column inches and generic comment regarding the soft drinks industry.
Results:
- In just nine months we achieved positive, balanced coverage - 2 TV pieces; 5+ national press editorials; 15+ magazine article and numerous regional press editorials reaching 47m people.
