Nutrition PR - The Fat Panel
Objectives:
- Raise awareness of margarine and vegetable oil based spreads as a lower saturated fat alternative to butter.
Strategy:
- Utilise the expertise of the Nexus-created, independent and credible panel of -The Fat Panel.
- Create a debate about celebrity chefs' cooking, raising awareness of the high SFA content and proposing simple yet healthier switches.
- Analyse content of recipes and with help of a dietician and a home economist propose healthier alternatives whilst maintaining delicious taste.
Results:
- Results are still coming in and being evaluated but the story hit more than 90% of national newspapers with news coverage detailing all key messages. Coverage is spreading internationally.
