She has worked for a number of blue chip clients including Nestlé, Diageo, Weetabix, McCain Foods, United Biscuits and ASDA, including a remit for crisis management. Industry links include bodies such as the FSA, Defra and the NFU. She has extensive contacts with nutritionists, dieticians and research institutions.
After more than 20 years with the BBC, Keith heads up our crisis communications and media training division. In his time with the corporation he held senior editorial positions in network radio, television news and at the World Service. Amongst the clients and organisations that he’s worked with are the United Nations, DfID, Harvard Business Publishing, Pret A Manger, Department for Transport and Autoglass.
Jonathan is the agency Chairman and founder, whose broader marketing career has seen him hold roles within Texaco, Burmah Oil, and Lever Bros before creating the Nexus brand. He is also a Freeman of the City of London, and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fruiterers. Jonathan's passion for all things food and marketing strategies within the sector have been at the heart of the agency's delivery for over 30 years.
Kevin has worked in crisis and issues communication for the past 20 years, specialising in the food and drink industry. He has worked with a variety of UK and international companies including Burger King, Weetabix, McCain Foods and British Lion eggs. He has undertaken everything from training company representatives in the event of blackmail, crisis simulations, product recalls and planning.
Amanda leads our team that works with the British Egg Industry Council. She took on the role a year before the Edwina Currie salmonella scare and has played a major part in the industry’s recovery from what was one of the UK’s most high profile food crises. She has worked with a range of clients including Muller Dairy, Patak’s Indian Foods, the Tea Council, Bramley Apples, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare and the Health Supplements Information Service.
Sophie joined as our Head of Digital after working for Samsung at Cheil on the creation and roll out of their global social media operation. She has also worked with clients including Unilever, Audi, British Airways and MINI and in the e-commerce start-up Rated People. She is in charge of the thought leadership, strategy, development and integration of all our digital and social media business.
Richard brings a blend of experience leading both independent agencies and UK offices of international networks to the table. Clients he’s worked for range from challenger brands to global names and include Tyrrells, McDonald’s, the happy egg co, Diageo, BAA, the FT and Fedex. He’s also in charge of our creative output and overall strategic direction for clients, and has significant experience across the communications mix from brand building, to internal communications, crisis and issues work and storytelling campaigns that deliver commercial bottom line results.
Nicky heads up our healthcare division and has an established reputation for being an industry expert. Leading our award winning team of healthcare comms professionals she provides strategic campaign creation, direction and management. She is experienced in crisis and reputation management and stakeholder engagement. She has worked with a wide range of clients including Unilever, SimplyHealth and Dendron.
